4.In locations where freezing of the ground can cause ground lift, take care to ensure that the concrete footing reaches areas below the frost line to avoid any rework. To put up your fence, horizontal bars should be slipped into the punched holes of the first pole as far as the notched hole will tolerate. Set a line post into the next hole and slide the corresponding opening into the horizontal bar as far as possible. Repeat the process until you have completed the marked area.
